On a couple of my avis (xvid/mpeg4) that i know to be good (ive played them before. and yes i read the trouble shooting) there all choppy unless i go out of full screen of the video and im using the side menu it plays fine it happens on both 10.1 drahma and the latest nightly my pc is an amd phenom quad core 64 bit with a ati 4650 radeon HD and win7 ultimate 64bit can someone tell me wwhy this keep happening and how to fix it? thanks in advance.

Well... 4650 radeon is suppose to support DXVA2 acceleration, so...
- GPU drivers are uptoDate?
- DirectX is uptodate. Check dxdiag.exe and check that all 3D & directDraw are enabled...
-Check if Xbmc's DXVA2 is enabled on system settings...

Thanks updated the driver and went to the latest nightly and the avis are playing fine for now so hophilly it stays this way thanks for the quick reply
