SSL is always missing from my xbmc
#1
This problem has gone on for well over a year now and continues after just installing 10.1 on my windows 7 x64 machine. For some reason no matter what version of xbmc I'm running, I always get an error when it tries loading the python _SSL.pyd script. Taken from the log:

Win32DllLoader::Load: Unable to load special://xbmc/system/python/DLLs\_ssl.pyd (5)

My full log at pastebin:

This generally doesn't cause problems except certain plugins rely on SSL function.

Assuming the number in brackets, (5), is a Win32 error, the error is "access denied". You could try running XBMC as administrator and see if the error goes away.

Thanks, I didn't know that error was access denied. I was curious what the 5 meant though. I thought maybe it was saying the error happened 5 times. Anyway I fixed it by deleting the whole xbmc folder and reinstalling.
