Sort by last time played

im sorry if this has been suggested, i did search and couldn't find anything.

anyway i think it would be cool to have xbmc save the date/time of when it plays a file and let you sort by (or view) when you last watched them. i have all the simpsons/futurama/family guy episodes and watch 2-3 everynight as i fall asleep. it's hard to keep track of which i just watched (since the titles sometimes dont ring a bell with what he episode is).

windows filesystem actually saves this little piece of info, it's known as "last accessed"

i don't know if any other filesystem or smb support it though.

windows media center actually lets you do what i'm asking if the media is added to your library. that's where i got the idea. unfortunately the fact that media center does it isn't much help  Wink

ps i'm not sure it does it by last accessed because a) your media needs to be added to the library before it does it, and all files have last accessed. and b) last accessed can be changed by lots of things.
