Guide for viewing subtitles in 3d SBS or under/over movies
#1
I patched 10.1 xbmc version for enabling 3d subtitles

To install the patch do the following

1. Ensure you have 10.1 Dharma version

2. rename XBMC.exe to XBMC.exe.nom

3. Extract XBMC.exe from here to your XBMC root directory

4. under language/English

a. rename strings.xml to strings.xml.nom

b. Extract from the link above strings.xml to language/English

To view SBS 3D with subtitles

1. When playing a movie go to the video OSD -> Audio and subtitles settings -> Select the 3d subtitle mode (none / side by side / over under)

Notes
- The subtitles are displayed on top by purpose (on most 3d videos there is the least illusion of depth at the top)
- Reduction of the font size of the subtitles is advised for side by side (since it will be stretched in 3d)

Happy 3D

Thanks benjicoh for your work, but is there any chance to change the subs position to "normal place"
I found the code you added and figured that its only needs to change the y1 to simple y in SBS and change the values for y1 and y2 in OU mode but can't complie it.

Is there any possible that you also made the second version with "normal subs position".
Hope you will read this.
