Hi

Just yesterday as I tried to play a movie or tv show from xbmc I get an error saying unable to play file please check the log files (details of which are: http://pastebin.com/DXCDW0bJ). I can however play them from Videos>Files but not from Videos>Movies.

I'm a very basic user of XBMC and no idea what is going on, or if I've even given the correct information to help diagnose the problem.

I don't think the pastebin is a debug log.. The fact that you can play video's in file mode indicates you haven't properly scraped in your media.

the exact same files were working fine two days ago, upon addition of a few new films - the same films that were watched two days ago are also playing up.

how can i get a full debug log?

IMPORTANT! The normal XBMC log IS NOT a debug log, to enable debug logging you must toggle it on under XBMC Settings - System.
