hi
I have had some 720p mkv movies that come with external vobsubs and I noticed on many occasions the subs are not centered when I watch with xbmc.
Loking at the vobsubs .idx they have a 1280x720 resolution and made with a software called BDSup2Sub. I'm guessing this software makes bluray sup files into vobsubs.
I prefer the use of vobsubs over srt cause they many times have positioning, colors etc, but it looks like while the 720p mkv gets a good upscaling for the 1080p screen, the vobsubs don't. Meaning they are more to the right side of the screen than centered. I'm not sure it's on every movie I watched but certainly happened on a few. Most movies I have don't have vobsubs though.
