i love xbmc its great. but im having problems with the playback of all video files.
every file i play flickers from dim to bright and its really annoying. anyone had this issue or any ideas

Check your video card settings. NVIDIA cards have a "dynamic contrast" setting, or something like that, that can cause this. I think ATI cards have something similar.

thanks for your reply, i managed to get it by turning off all settings in xbmc video settings i think hardware acceleration was the problem
