Tvtuner acting up help wanted - mantis_ack_wait (0): Slave RACK Fail !
#1
Hey guys a few weeks ago i bought myself a Technisat Cablestar HD2 card which havent been able to get to work probberly i installed the V4l driver from s2 which went almost flawlessly had some trouble finding Floppy-DVB and disabling it in order to make the compile anyway i got it sorted and installed the driver without problems.

Now i keep getting this in tvheadend:
Quote:Aug 03 01:29:02 dvb: "143,000 kHz" on adapter "Technisat Cablestar 2 HD", status changed to No signal
Aug 03 01:29:04 dvb: "143,000 kHz" on adapter "Technisat Cablestar 2 HD", status changed to Bad signal

However i know the signal is just right cause it works flawless on my tv with direct input to it, and i even add'd a signal amplifier to make the signal perfect strength.

However i keep getting this error in dmesg:

Quote:[ 1301.780010] mantis_ack_wait (0): Slave RACK Fail !
[ 6387.456144] mantis_ack_wait (0): Slave RACK Fail !

I've triede googling for an helpfull answer but have been unable todo so, some help if there is any help on the matter would be MUCH appriciated!

Update: i still have got ... signal in tvheadend and i have no idea why anymore, dmesg doesent come up with anything regarding mantis problems or anything, and i've tested the signal and its perfect for my tv, if i turn my antenne booster all the way up i can index all my channels and get some channels while others are just gray boxed but my tv manages perfect and says great signal str with antenne booster on half str and even works without antenne booster, so i dont know what i can do to anymore?

Edit 2:

seems that lsmod does not contain cu1216 (sudo lsmod | grep cu1216) does not return anything same with b2c2-flexcop-pci , however mantis , dvb etc. is loaded correctly and is visible in lsmod, i have tried to modprobe b2c2flexcop-pci and cu1216 they are there after i modprobe but signal str according to tvheadend is still very bad and cant see any channels however b2c & cu12 is loaded after modprobe till next reboot but doesent help.

I really need some help guys im on the verge of buying a new card just cause i've been strugling for so long
