I bought this internal IR receiver a while ago and just started to install it today. I ran in to several problems along the way and need to know what I should do.

I do not have their "power switch PCB" so I was wondering if I am able to just splice all these wires together with my existing wires.
For example wire the positive wire to the postive power wire on the board and do the same with the negative and then wire the 5V standby that is on the IR sensor to my motherboards 5v SB.
I just don't want to tinker with something and find out the hard way that I should not do this.
