Hi everyone,
just installed XBMC only newly built HTPC, WIndows 7 based. However, some fonts within XBMC are distorted/blurred. THis happens in all skins I've tested. Some text is fine, some text isn't. Also the distortion seems to change occasionally. This happens only in XBMC, not other applications I'm using. graphics card is ASUS HD 6450 with latest drivers. any help to fix this would be great

Update your graphics drivers. I've seen this before with ATI graphics.

Thanks for your help. I have already updated the drivers Versie (version 8.84.9-110427a-118082E-Asus) and I'm running Service pack 1). I've changed some settings: in 'windowed mode' the fonts are displayed perfectly. So for now I'll simply use that mode. If you can help me with some other pointers, I'm all ears

Unfortunately, the windowed mode doesnt fix the problems either.

Fixed! Ati drivers were the issue. pointer to others: don't rely on the Asus auto update function, manually download the latest drivers instead.
