I have Apple tv2 with XBMC

now i can streeming very good with my Hdd 3.5 WD 2TB from my Pc

so I have a Airport Express too,wifi N, very good to streeming apple tv2 ,Xbmc, I used Ftp
then I want to know If i connect my WD Usb harddrive to Airport Express,it better than connect from Pc?

any one know? Which conection best for streemming? Which better?faster?

It's doubtful that you will max out the speed needed for video playback, but connecting to the PC will be faster. The USB port on the Airport is a bit slower, and some people have even said that this can affect some high bit rate 1080 movies.

I have a mix of both and have had no problems, but most of my content is in 720.

Airport Express does not support drives connected to the USB. Only printers work. You need an Airport Extreme router if you want to hook up a drive to a USB and it's terribly slow. For some reason the airport USB ports are slow. Stick with the PC connection or get a NAS drive.
