I searched the forums and couldn't find any other mention of this problem, so I'm starting a new thread.
I was having problems with XBMC crashing every few minutes; searched the forum and FAQ and found out it's because of the ATV2 checking for Apple updates. So I installed updatebegone. The problem of XBMC crashing went away, but now the ATV2 can't contact Apple to verify my iTunes account (so I can't rent movies, etc.)
Anyone else have this problem? What can I do about it (short of removing updatebegone and reverting to the problem of XBMC crashing)?
