I am having issues with the latest nightly and want to roll back to the previous nightly (from memory it was 8-10). As there is no direct download of the previous nightly can someone please post it up?

Whats the problem? Tell so devs have a chance to fix

Try putting a / in between NAS-SERVER and Qmultimedia?

Personally I just browse to the 'Windows Network' and never type in path names..

Keith, got the same problem browsing the 'windows network'. Select the workgroup, then it bombs out on selecting the share... missing the "/" like you say. see below, 'media' is the share.

[EDIT] yes if I manually enter the share path, all is well.

Since updating to the latest nightly my latest video's aren't being added to my library. I have tried re-adding my smb source but i'm getting 'connection refused' (already being discussed earlier in the thread).

I suspect that it's the latest nightly but would like to roll back to the previous nightly to confirm that it is indeed the latest version that's giving me the issues.

I think you should stick to official releases if you're not prepared to hit problems on the road. I also think you should take the opportunity to report what kind of problems you have in the latest build, so they can fix it to next release. Don't forget to include your setup.

SMB url should be fixed as of today builds;

Hi.
I'm experiencing a problem with my MKV files that contains VOBSUB subtitles. After I clean/optimize them, using mkclean, the subtitles are displayed in ugly cyan color.

Code:
mkclean --optimize in.mkv out.mkv

I've talked to the Matroska team about this potential bug in mkclean, and after a little research they concluded that the problem lies with XBMC not correctly handling VOBSUB subtitles with zlib compressed CodecPrivate (related to the subtitle palette).

Here is a photo showing the differences before/after mkclean:

The "nightly" builds are not quite nightly. I think lately, about every week (give or take a couple of days), they release a new "nightly" that incorporates a bunch of the latest fixes. Since the last one was two days ago, I suspect the next one won't be out for at least a couple more days if not a little longer.

Billy making iOS builds is the new part. I believe he's still getting the hang of things, but once he's set up we will have one main official nightly build for AT2/iOS, every night.

Did you read the 1st post? You cannot request old builds!

Nope, it will take over xbmc.hadm.net, so my site/builds/etc will go away immediately and there will be no more official/unofficial, it'll be just 'from repos' or 'nightlies from the buildbot' and hopefully eventually if we're lucky something will be cool enough for 'stable'. Smile

After that, An idea I've been kicking around is putting together a iOS/ATV2 specific build that will have plugins/skins/etc optimized.
