I would uninstall the application and delete all of the data and then reinstall XBMC to let it build up from scratch.

First uninstall. Then run the following on your iPad in Putty:

rm -f /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC

Then reinstall the app and see how it goes. Good luck.

If you uninstalled then yes, reinstall. If not, just run XBMC now and see what happens. If it fails again, can you please post a new log file?

i got xbmc back working but now i cant seem to install the morstars repo.
on my ipad i went here:

then i THINK it downloaded.
so then i went to XBMC and then system>settings>add ons>install from zip file but i cant find the zip file to install?

I think the best bet would be to download it to your PC and then copy it across to your iPad using WinSCP.

Grab something like iCab that can manage file downloads (a replacement browser that is pretty nice and even lets you do file upload). Then use iFile to move the zip file to a place that is easy to find. That's what I've been doing (that, plus AppLinks)
