Hello All,

Can anyone help me with some of the strange issues im getting.

1. My Res max is only 700x576 on a 720P TV, XBMC will not let me change the resultion any higher.

2. No Sound, I have Lots of options but yet none of them seem to work.

I cannot help with Q1 but Q2 try doing the following

1. from the main menu select System

2. Select System

3. Select Audio Output - In this settings menu put in the following custom settings for the Audio Output Device and Passthrough Output Device is set to

plughw:0,3

Let me know how you get on I have the same revo system and had to do the above

Thanks for that, I found out that I have to redraft the system after I change any of the settings.

I have it working now ( can't tell you what they are as I'm watching it )

But I'm sure it's the Nvidia ion hdmi.. But don't quote me

Just need to sort the res out now.

Ok just tried to watch an acquired copy of star trek first contact (mp4) and the sound is all messed up, firstly there's background track but no speech.

Tried the same file on my main rig and sound is fine on the speakers, so not file.

Tried changing to the above settings and no go at all.

Reverted back to "HDA NVidia hdmi" and back to square one.

Is this a coding issue with the file or an amp/xbmc setup issue? Bearing in mind that the file works fine through VLC on my main rig.
