I bought a XFX GT-520M-CNF2 GeForce GT 520 (Fermi) 2GB 64-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card to go on a ASUS M4A88TD-M/USB3 AM3 AMD 880G HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard. Will I need a S/PDIF cable to get sound? Or will it come through the HDMI into my TV like my old ATI 5670?

It'll come through the HDMI cable if you choose. What OS do you plan on running? Windows is easy to choose the Nvidia HDMI output - Live or OpenELEC might need a custom audio device created.
