Hi, i read that when putting an ipad in an ipod ir dock the ir remote can work to control music playback link
Now i wonder has anyone tried this to control xbmc on the ipad with the ir remote ?

I don't think you get your ipad connected into this ... the ipad itself of course doesn't have an ir receiver on board ...

Ye that one, or some like it. docking into it will not go without modding it or using an extension cable
