Hi,

I have windows 7 premium installed in my EEE PC netbook n550 + ion2.

Installed the latest nvidia drivers and enabled DXVA2.

When I play SD or HD compressed (h.264 & mkv) video is like fading in and out!

My setup netbook -> via hdmi to sharp 1080p TV

Any ideas?

I'm posting from my phone so Im not going to post a link, but search through the posts I've replied to, there is a thread regarding the same issue on a 1215n. Pretty much you need to enable the ion gpu for xbmc in the nvidia settings. You can also check which gpu is being used in the system info in xbmc.

Some video cards have a "Dynamic contrast" setting. Look in the NVIDIA control panel, and if you find this setting try disabling it.
