Covers/Art-work not correct for the file.
#1
Hi all,

I'm having some problems getting XBMC to display the correct cover for certain shows/films.
For example, I have Sleeping Beauty (Disney), but it is instead giving me artwork for a completely different Sleeping Beauty that is much older.

What is the best way to name files?

(I'm not using folders to get artwork (Or some option like that was in the menu))

The same goes for Ghostbusters, it's giving me a series cover when I want it to display the film covers.

I'm using IMDB as the database it refers to, though I've tried the default one (MovieDB or something? Forgive me, I've only just started using this.) and it does the same thing but for some others too.

Also, I have the Alien Quadrilogy. I've named the files for each like;
Alien
Aliens
Alien 3
Alien: Resurrection

But it just shows:

Aliens,
Alien,
Alien,
Alien

in XBMC.

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance,

My apologies if I've posted in the wrong area.

Edit: Just double checked the how-to sticky, I think the only thing that'll be relevant is version...
I'm using Version 10.1, Git e9e9099 (Compiled 8th March 2011)

IMHO - the best way to set up is each movie in it's own folder and include the year - e.g Sleeping Beauty (2010)

That worked!

Thank you so much.

It's amazing this program can get all that info from that Smile
