XBMC Green stuff
#1
Hey All

Windows 7, x86 running XBMC 11 (compiled 10th august, 2011).
Error also occurs on official release.

ATI 4200, MKV file 1920 x 1040:
I recieve a garbled result (green pixels). If I disable DXVA i playback correctly.
If I playback file on BS-player i have correct playback
As i read this is something to do with a "conflict" between ATI & DXVA2

As i understand It i have 2 choices:
1. live with the HTPC Noise
2. buy Nvidia
can any1 confirm that theese are my only options?

ATI drivers do seem to have to most issues with XBMC. First thing to do is make sure you have the latest drivers for your ATI card. If so then search the forums. There are quite a few threads about ATI issues and workarounds/fixes.
