Ahhhrg, the tv screen is turning black after about 20 secs, and I have to fysical push the powerbutton to reset the machine. This is only happening in the commandline, not in bios.

The fans are set to silent and the cpu temp is 45 celcius and MB ( I guess its motherboard) is 35 celcius. I dont know what the gpu temp is, havent found it in the bios.

But this temperatures is not under movie playback or any power demanding operation. (Im still struggeling with the xbmc live and driver installation)

then try "stratx" and see what message you get..?

you might be tempted to try OpenElec... maybe it will work without too much effort.

Code:
Using X configuration file: "etc/x11/xorg.conf".
Backed up file "/etc/x11/xorg.conf" as "/etc/x11/xorg.conf.Backup"
New X configuration file written to "/etc/x11/xorg.conf"

Just for now it doesnt freeze, but if I reboot I bet it willHuh

If I type startx:

Code:
Fatal server error:
Server is allready active for display 0
If the server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.XO-lock
and start again.

Please consult the The x.Org foundation support
at http://wiki.x.org for help.

How did you installed XBMC live? Directly on the TV or another screen?

Try what they sugest : "remove /tmp/.XO-lock" and retry.

Have to go for now, good luck!

Yes I have, and Ive placed it like its sucking the air out of the cabinet. Im not sure whats the best way.

Another thing to mention about this build is that the gap between the cpu fan and the psu is like zero. I guess I was a bit lucky with thatSmile

i'd put the fan to shoot AIR directly to the CPU, but thats me,,,

so instead of exhausting HOT air i would make it intake COLD air,,,
