I have XBMC set up on two old XBOXs and just installed version XBMC PRE-11.0 on my apple TV 2
Set up a SMB share to my NAS (Netgear DUO) which works fine for the two XBOXs. Changed the DNS name to a direct IP address. Can add the sources, can browse them, see the directory structure, no problem. But recursive slideshows for my photo directories doesn't seem to work. The photo directory is pretty big, certainly over 100GB, but the old XBOX systems don't seem to have any problem with it. They are running a much older version of XBMC (last version compatible with the XBOX, ver 9?)
Any ideas on why the apple TV can't seem to do a recursive slideshow with an SMB share?
