Ok, I just installed XBMC 10.1 on my macbook pro os X lion. I get the same video playback error. Do you have a link that tells me how to install the latest nightly build for Mac OS XBMC? I have search google but can't find anything.

I figured it out, I just went to the link you sent me and went to the ATV nightly builds then kept hitting the 'Up Parent Directory" until I saw OSX That fixed my problems.

I am a little confused. Could someone explain what rtmp and librtmp are? I am using a Macbook pro osX lion and an apple tv 2. Neither one can play much on the Canada on Demand plugin. I can get a few news stations to play but that is all, every thing else gives me a Playback failed error. Other videos on Amazon Prime, IceFilms, BlueCop, etc.. play fine with no erros. I live in the US, does that matter? Or do I need to configure something with this rtmp talk? I recently installed XBMC on both my Macbook and Apple TV 2 last week with the most current nightly build last week. Thanks
