Manual content scan that removes old stored content?
#1
I use XBMC Nightly (Aug 27) and after I refreshed content, due to a password change to the filesharing between XBMC and the media folder on my iMac, I got duplicates of all the previously scanned movies.

Therefore I want to perform a new scan, on my computer's media folder, that delete the content that XBMC has stored on it's previous scan. How can I manually perform this on XBMC?

System/Settings -> Video -> Library -> Clean Library

Thanks for the answer!

After doing a Clean Library a couple of movies still remains in XBMC's "Movie" section. Strange.

Also, after the cleanup I made a "Scan for content" on my source (on my iMac). The scan seems finish without issues and I can play the movies via "Videos->Files". However, when I go to "Videos->Movies" I get the following message when I try to play the movies:

"This file is no longer available. Would you like to remove it from the library?"

Any idea of why the movies are not recognized/playable in the Movies section?
