For some reason XBMC crashed on me today and threw me back to the ATV 2 main menu - when I clicked on the XBMC menu option it would just reset the ATV 2.
Luckily I had made a back up copy yesterday of:-
/private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC
So what I done was to copy this folder back over to the ATV 2 to see if this would resolve the issue - it did (thank god)
However the only problem I have now is that my Movie Library is not updating - after I had made a backup of the folder yesterday, I added another 26 movies to my collection and updated my library without any problems. The problem I have is now when it tries to update the library and comes up with 'Scanning for new content' it finds the film but it quickly disappears and does not update the library.
