is there anyway to have what you record via shoutcast to be recorded to a location on your pc instead of recording it to the xbox hd?

well, if your any good at programming it shouldn't be a problem. just look up info on the shoutcast protocol. it's actually a pretty simple on. shouldn't be too hard to program a stream recorder.
on the other hand... you could just google it. i just did and got tons of results. good luck.
ps this is more of an off topic post....

well what i was talking about was that instead of the recordings going into xbmc\recordings as mp3s it would maybe save to my pc via smb shares like example smb:\\192.168.1.3\recordings\ or something

its not possible right now to set the recoding path to a pc share.
moving to feature sugestions.
