Hi guys loving the XBMC experience, i have got things setup with my Videos/TV Shows as far as local media info goes, and have started to organise my music now.
Since there was no easy to use separate software to use for this, i figured i would import the files into xbmc, scrape them, then export the info to use on my other xbmc setups. So far so good, the bulk of the artists have been found, the artist.nfo and album.nfo files are there and have the info in them along with the artwork happy days
However when goto import the music folder into other XBMC setups (Windows) the album art is picked up identically to the first installation but NO .nfo files are used at ALL after i've scanned the library all the files are there, pics work but no words
I've looked around but lots of the music posts are from a few years ago. Just for info:
Used my living room XBMC to scan initally and export the files to each folder.
Folder setup is ARTIST NAME\ALBUM NAME\SONGS
ARTIST NAME has folder.jpg, fanart.jpg and artist.nfo
each ALBUM folder has folder.jpg and album.nfo
Looking for some pointers now and ideally some windows based software to make editing the info easier on the none scanned items.
