Don't know about the rest but this should definitely be included.

Added caveat re: getting back to the ATV2 menu. Kind of a bummer for anyone using Airplay from iTunes.

So here's what I'm thinking. We unsticky the current FAQ/Install thread, jailbreak FAQ thread, and maybe the current issues thread too (Doesn't really seem that useful and it only applies to the last repo version). We make a new thread that says something like "READ ME FIRST BEFORE POSTING. INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS. FAQ." In there we have four big bold links (2 install wiki links, wiki FAQ, and Jailbreak FAQ in the off-topic section) and the note about no posting about jailbreaking.

We keep the thread open for suggestions on how to further improve the instructions/FAQ or whatever supplemental information we want to include that hasn't been covered on the install or FAQ pages.

Maybe some kind of intro too.

Thoughts?

Sounds good... the fewer stickies there are the better the chance is that people will read them. If there's just one that says README FIRST then people have no excuse for not reading it... I'm sure there'll be some that won't but it'll have been made as simple as possible.

I think that is a great idea.

I do have one request/suggestion. Can we do away with this wiki page? It really serves no purpose any longer.

Not sure what that would accomplish. There's a lot of category pages, following the same logic they should all be reviewed if they're not serving any purpose... but who gets to draw the line on which ones stay and which go. On top of that, they look like they're created dynamically so doesn't really look possible to remove them.

Negative. It's a category page that is automatically populated with any page tagged as being iOS related. As the wiki grows and as XBMC for iOS continues to develop, more pages will be tagged as being iOS related.
