highlight first letter while scrolling no longer seems to work for me in either 0.9.1 or the git repo.
any ideas how to debug or fix?

This is working for me on the git version and 0.9.1

yeah, it's odd. it works fine for me in both versions on xbmc on my laptop. but on my linux htpc in the lounge it stopped working a while back.
I have to build a new nightly for it anyway, so hopefully it'll work again.
