Dedicate USB keyboard to XBMC
#1
I run XBMC from my living room PC. Nice little machine that I built with HTPC in mind, but at the same time, a real PC for casual usage (no gaming or intensive work).

Problem is, when my wife is using the PC while I'm watching something on XBMC, I have to tell her to stop fiddling around while I use my wireless keyboard to get controls over XBMC and change movies or tv-show, or even play/pause.

Now since XBMC cannot run well in VMWare, I don't see how I can make a specific USB keyboard/mouse/remote only control stuff in XBMC while someone is using the computer at the same time.

Solutions? (I don't want the iPhone app solution, I have a very nice HTPC wireless keyboard Big Grin )

You can link a remote to XBMC using EventGhost, but I don't think this can do the same for a keyboard.
