Hi guys,

I've been looking over the forum but most threads are quite old, and I was figuring that some stuff may not be longer required with latest releases of XBMC such has using NitoTV (which I don't even know what it is).

Very simple : I have an ATV1 with latest release of XBMC.

I want to hook up an external HD to the USB port.

What's the simplest way to do that ?

Can it be auto detected ?

Is there anything to consider ?

Should it be formatted in HFS or else ?

Is there an easy way to unmount it so I can transfer files to it, and re-mount it, painlessly ?

Where can I find simple instructions for a n00b like me to install NitoTV ?

Such has : had it to the Software Menu for example, using terminal ?

And then I can download it from there on my AppleTV ?
