I have installed the remote plugin from available addons. It seems to work fine and I can navigate around okay however I would like the i info button to bring up the context menu but cant seem to find a way, i tried editing settings to get the telext button to send c but that did not work.

I have seen on here posts mention remote sendkeys.reg and keyboard.xml but not sure what to do.

I am still using media centre for tv etc...

Grab KeyMapEdit from http://xbmcmce.sourceforge.net/. This is an easy way to add custom key mappings. You need to map a key to action "ContextMenu". If you've used the MCERemote add-on this will have configured the i button to send ctrl-D.
