i have an old pc i want to use as htpc will xbmc run on it if i buy a new video card


Intel® Celeron 'D' 3.06GHz (single-core i think)

2gb DDR2 SDRAM

it is a HP DC7600 Desktop Computer

and was thinking of using a Gigabyte 1GB GT210 PCI-E VGA Card with the xbmc live cd

It looks like it should. GT210 and enable DXVa2... processor not sure but you may have trouble if you want to play with just cpu power. So you have GPU power you should be fine..... anyone else?

With the GT210 to do the video decoding, you should have more than enough grunt to run XBMC.
