HOW TO ADD ONs for AVT2
#1
I am new to XBMC and am havinfg a hard time figuring out add-ons. I see where people say to SSH in to ATV2. But where do you go from there. I see for example where to put file ie. /var/mobile/file/duh/puthere/ ,but when I ssh in to ATV2 all I see are command prompts and I don't know how to drill down to these folder to put the add-on files in. Yes I can follow the ie. /var/mobile/dummy/ if it where windows folders, but command prompts I don't get.

I know for you guys that do it all the time this may sound dumb. But I would appreciate someone showing this dummy how to do it.

You should be able to share a folder on your network(maybe another folder where your movies/tv shows are) and set up access through the File Manager within XBMC. Then this folder should be accessable from the 'Install from zip file' option.

try using an SFTP program instead of SSH for a more user-friendly graphical interface
