My mouse pointer keeps appearing in the middle of my screen after a few hours of inactivity. Tried searching and I can't figure out why.

Anyone know why or have any suggestions on how to force the pointer to vanish/move to the edge of the screen and say there?

I'm running Windows7.

I have the same problem, but since I do not use a mouse at all in XBMC (only my VCR 1100 remote that does not have a middle mouse button), I would rather like to figure out why the mouse cursor (the Windows mouse cursor btw, not the XBMC mouse cursor) appears after some time, instead of only healing the symptoms.

So the question is: why, and under which circumstances, does the mousecuror appear?
