I've tried advanced settings but I can't get it to work, any idea how I can force a good few db boost to audio playback, esp movies, I'm playing them through a basic monitor and have no sound system connected, volumes at 100% on both and I'm finding I'm having to quit out of xbmc and use vlc to be able to hear a lot of films

have u tried the option BOOST AUDIO LEVEL DOWNMIX ?
