Greatings. Im a new member just starting with XBMC. I installed it on my home server and was routing it to my video file but when I go to the file while adding it to the library it shows no video files within the folder. I find this odd and have not been able to sync my library yet.

Also I have my videos organized in video > genre > alphabetic folders

Could XBMC be having issues with this setup? Should I put all the movies into one root folder? Then finally how difficult is it to get my PS3 or I have a Sony blue ray player to connect to XBMC?

I setup my media files into separate folder i.e.

"Die Hard 1" folder with "Die Hard 1.avi"

and

"Die Hard 2" folder with "Die Hard 2.MKV"

You need to tick search recursive folders when adding the media location but the approach works fine.
