I am running XBMC 10.0 (Git-e9e9099) on a Mid 2010 MacPro OS 10.6.8. I was using an iPad2 with XBMoteC as the remote. I used to have a Belkin router but I was having problem with the Wi-Fi the past couple days and it finally died last night. I just put in an AirPort Extreme and have it all configured. Noe I can't get XBMoteC to connect to the computer. I do not have the firewall enabled on the computer since it is sitting behind the router. I can get Rowmote Pro and Splashtop to both connect but XBMoteC is a much better remote than either of those. Any ideas why my remote wont work?

Host/IP is set to MacPro.local same as system prefs>Sharing. Port is 8080 in XBMC and remote and no difference with or with out a password.

Well I changed to port 8090 from 8080 and it worked. I don't know much about the port thing but it seems to work.
