there was no letter sent but when I pressed "enter" I left the dialog box.

And we can see it in the log file :

Well seems your softs keyboards think they are hard ones .....

I'll reactivate something I removed a few version back for hard keyboard since this did only support ascii.
So this will perhaps make it work again for your but only for A-z .

uh ? Je n'ai pas bien compris... tu veux publier une nouvelle version de Yatse ?

And when you say "it work again for your but only for A-z" that mean non-utf8 char will be sent (a-zA-Z0-9) but not the other (ç....) ?

What is that :
2012-12-16 14:32:23.333 Verbose/Xbmc-EventClient: j.c@340: sendvKey(106)

No french here :p

After checking my code I forget that I've made changes since my patch for Xbmc was merged :p

So yes the keysends are the sendvKey lines now in logs for Frodo builds ...

106 is "j" so keys are effectively sent via EventServer and all works on Yatse side Smile so you're back with a problem with your rpi installation Sad

well well well... Confused
I've a lot of questions and don't really know the best way to continue...
let's numbering my question, it will be easier :

1] Shall I continue on this post or is it better to open a new one ?

2] If I continue on this one, souldn't I change the title now ? like "[NOT Yatse but XBMC] remote software keyboard won't work" or something similar ?

3] I've juste re-read xbmc log and I've seen that, does it receive keystroke and does nothing :
Code:
13:39:11 T:1101139968   DEBUG: OnKey: 111 (6f) pressed, action is
13:39:11 T:1101139968   DEBUG: OnKey: 103 (67) pressed, action is

Tolriq, I think xbmc config is not your cup-of-tea. If you can't help me anymore I'd like to thank you for your help and the time you gave me.
