Hi,

I installed xbmcfreak-nuvoton-10.1-v2.zip on my ASRock ION330 HT box and everything worked fine until yesterday. For some reason movie files with 2 channel audio won’t play including the menu navigation sounds (which are also 2 channel audio files). These were perfectly working until day before and now they wouldn’t. Video files with AC3 or DTS play perfectly fine. I have audio out from my ASRock using optical out.

I am still not sure on what might have caused this issue. How do I fix this

I have the exact same problem on my HP DV2017ea

Optical out still works for AC3, but not 2 channel.

Last time it happened i needed to reinstall both Linux and XBMC, have done it three times now, and i'm bored of it. There has to be a better way to solve the problem.

Also the volume control stops working when playing ac3 videos
