Hi.
My HTPC is a Zotac ID-41 with the Ion2 chipset. Currently I'm running Windows 7 64bit, but I have a few problems:
- XBMC Playback skips (looks like it's fast-forwarding) every 10-20 seconds for 200 milliseconds.
- When sabnzbd runs par2 on a file, XBMC lags because of IO usage since Win7 can't prioritize that.
My questions are:
Will XBMC Live support ION2? This page:
http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=XBMC_Live
Doesn't mention ION at all. Google gives me some forum results from 2009, so I don't think that's relevant anymore.
Also, should I use this "XBMC Freak" livecd instead?:
http://www.xbmcfreak.nl/en/experimental-...t20110923/
It says it includes support for ION, but the site looks sketchy and I'm not sure I trust it.
Thanks!
