Hi,
Since updating from the official release to the 20110921 nightly I am noticing an issue that I am guessing relates to reconnecting to an SMB share.
After playing a file, when the SMB connection has idled (ie Samba is idle. Closing the remaining connections), playing a subsequent file crashes xbmc. If I play a second file before the SMB connection times out then there is no crash.
I updated today to the 20110926 nightly and the issue persists in this build (updated via dpkg -i). The issue is reproducible and does not seem to matter what type of file that is played (ie avi vs mkv vs mp4).
