ubuntu 11.04 + xbmc + harmony one - finetuning
#1
Hello all

Can somebody point me in the right direction where to look?

I Installed stable xbmc on ubuntu 11.04 (using the "maverick repo" trick) and just plugged in the reciver of my Logitech harmony one. Many buttons work, but some, like the "OK" button, dont or are mappaed wrongly.

Where should I look to correct these minor problems?

thanks in advance

You'll need to look into either the lirc configuration from the remote or check the lirc mapping in xbmc.

It could very well be that the Harmony remote is not mapping keys properly and you'll have to correct it in the logitech software (this is what happened to me, my volume controls went all weird and I had to manually edit the remote mapping in the Logitech software.)

thanks for the help

I solved simply by coping the "lirc-files" from a xbmc-live installation. With that the remote worked just fine as it does on a xbmc live installation.

Thanks
cheers
