i'm really happy for the new feature to be able to play a media stream through just pressing a button on the remote.
that is through mapping a control in keymap.xml to playmedia(url). works like a charm.
but, i would really love to have the ability to start and stop to record the audio stream through pressing another assigned button.
that way i don't need to have the tv on and going down to the music menu just to start recording.
would it be easily possible to include such a method/function into the xbmc class as with playmedia().
