Just curious does XBMC Live support game roms like Genesis/N64 ..etc?

Also I have been using XBMC for windows for a a week now and I plan on building a HTPC for Christmas, I was reading that XBMC Live is set up more like a "set-top-box feeling" which is what I'm looking for but I have never used linux before and am wondering is there a thorough guide/manual planned for the Eden version when it is released to help me set it up.

sure, check out rom collection browser addon you will need the relevent ROM emulator and takes a little tweaking to set up,

as for eden, i would assume a few days after it's official release someone would prob offer a how-to for live.

alternatively you could always order the HTPC with windows and then run live from a usb to get a feel for it. if you like then you can do full install or set up to dual boot.
