Hi,
I have a gtx580 which I found out doesnt support bitstreaming and I am now after another GPU to fullfill my HTPC needs. i was wondering what you guys have found to be the best for 24htz and bitstreamin using XBMC?

GT 430 is basically the ideal HTPC card right now. Low power requirements, supports bistream over HDMI, it's cheap, low profile for HTPC cases, etc.

It's not very fast for gaming though...

Was thinking of that. I am not getting rid of my gtx580. Gonna keep that for gaming. Do you know if it will be possible to run both cards independently on one mainboaed or will i have to keep swapping them round between my gaming needs and my htpc needs?

If gaming is not purpose, you can have GT520 for low price, and some brands/models event are silent : No fan. GT520 have new VP5 engine, if using HW decoding capacity, this engine is very fast compared to others.
