Before upgrading to the newest version of the ATV2 software I was wondering is it possible to completely backup my settings so I can painlessly reinstall XBMC once I've updated?
Cheers

Should probably add I've read the FAQ and backed up my /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC folder but still not clear exactly what the steps are when updating IOS.
Once updating I assume I'll need to jailbreak again, install Cydia and then reinstall XBMC. Once XBMC is reinstalled I then copy the folder back across?

Been a while since I've done this, but that was the gist of it.
(Just make sure you know what user/perms you're propogating when you putty/cyberduck the old config back over. I believe people had issues with root vs. non-root user on the prefs restore.)
