Hi Guys,

i'm farily new here and i have a problem with every video i try to play.

Everything stutters

My setup:
4gb ddr3 ram
AMD Phenom X4 3,0 ghz
HD Radeon 4250 onboard

the thing is when i play a fullhd video through windows media player (MKV) the video plays very good, no stuttering at all. ut everything through XBMC is stuttering.

I also had some stuttering until last night I went into
settings> video >playback and enabled Allow Hardware Acceleration (DXVA2) and enabled sync playback to display. No problems since then, have you tried changing any of these options?

Okay, i guess i was a little to fast with chearing...

I now see that a youtube video trailer will play normal without stuttering...

Another thing to do would be right click on your xbmc shortcut, goto the compatibility tab and select Disable desktop composition. This will stop aero from running in the background. That's been know to help. Also in the same section you changed before (system,video, playback) have you tried changing the av/sync method?
