Realtek Gigabit for real-time-live HD video streaming from the net' ... anyone ?
#1
Hi all

Is there anyone here using a wired-ethernet Realtek Gigabit port for streaming HD video from the net' - ie: not for playing already doenloaded files, but for real-time-live HD video streaming from the net' ?

=> if so, can you please tell me which drivers and driver version you are using ?

also

=> have you had to make any specific setting adjustments in the Properties for your Realtek in order to real-time-live-stream HD video from the net' ?

Thanks,
Ben

Hi Jetster

Thanks for responding - so just to clarify:

=> you are using the built-in Realtek Gigabit Ethernet connection on your MB [ 8111D chipset ] and using the 64 bit Win 7 driver you provided the link for ...... and with this combination, you can real-time-live-stream HD video's [ Youtube, Icefilms, Vimeo etc..... ] directly from the internet to XBMC ...... with no glitchs / no buffering issues / no dropouts etc..... ?
