I recently had to replace an HD5450 an HD2400 (for obscure reasons :p) and although it has no trouble playing blurays 1080p videos I couldn't get it to output 23.976Hz.
The 5450 had this option (23Hz) in the Catalyst Control Center, and I set XBMC to switch automatically to the correct refresh rate and it worked flawlessly. Now with the HD2400 the 23Hz option is gone from the control center, and when XBMC tries to output 23.976Hz it just stutters like crazy like it skips a frame every half second or something (I'm running the latest nightlies on windows 7 x64).
So, do you think this problem can be solved, or is the HD2400 simply incapable of outputting 23.976Hz ?
